June 5 – 6 IRL/NASCAR Truck Legends
Race Week Information Schedule

Races
During our June 5 – 7 Indy Racing League/NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race Weekend, Legends and Bandolero cars will have two opportunities to race for National INEX Points. The races will be held on June 6 & 7 at our 1/5 mile Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway track located behind turn 3 of the Superspeedway. Both events will be full race programs with Practice, Qualifying, and Features. The races will be from 10am – 2pm each day. The IRL and NASCAR Truck races are Night races, so everyone participating in the Legends and Bandolero events will have plenty of time to enjoy all of the action from two of the Nation’s premier racing series. Texas Motor Speedway is the Indy Car equivalent to Talladega. You won’t want to miss out on the chance to race your Legends or Bandolero car, then watch three-wide racing at over 225mph on our Superspeedway. We are also opening the Front Grandstands of the 1/5 mile Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway free of charge on both Friday and Saturday for the Legends and Bandolero races. Let’s try and put on a good show for all of the people who come watch you race. It is extremely important that you make sure your race cars are in proper running order. Check your cars for leaks, or potential leaks that could come from loose parts, moving parts rubbing oil lines, gas caps, etc. The fewer problems we have on the track, the more time we will have available to race. Also, please keep in mind that any delays due to accidents or fluid spills could cause drivers in your class, or other classes, to have their races shortened. Have fun, but use your head. It is possible that different classes of cars may be combined, or laps per race may be shortened depending on time constraints. Races will run back to back. There will be no delay in between Feature Races. If you have any questions, please call Lone Star Legends at (817) 255-6000

Entry Fees and Credentials
Credentials will be available only at the Texas Motor Speedway Credential Office during
the following times:
- Thursday, June 5th – 9am – 5:00pm

- Saturday, June 7th – 7am – 5pm
Entry Fees for the entire weekend are $50 each per driver and crew member for payments received by May 29, 2003. Entries received after May 29, 2003 are $60 each per Driver and crew member. Your Legends credential will allow you walk through access to the spectator areas of the Superspeedway Infield for all three days of the IRL/NASCAR Truck weekend. All Credentials need to be picked up at the Speedway Credential Office. You cannot pick up your Credentials at the 1/5 mile Pit Gate. Competitors must be registered, and have their Credentials picked up and paid for before access to the Pit area will be allowed. You must have a Legends Credential to enter the Legends Pit area. Every individual must pick up his or her credential. No one can pick up your credential for you. Minors must have a parent with them to sign a release when they pick up their credentials.

Parking
The only vehicles that will be allowed in the Legends Pit area will be those that are towing race cars. If your vehicle is not towing a race car, you will be able to park in the Dirt Track parking lot in front of the 1/5 Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway track on Friday and Saturday. The 1/5 mile Pit Gate will open at 7am on both Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7. If you plan on coming to the Speedway on Thursday, June 5, you will be able to park your trailer and tow vehicle in the paved Bus Parking Lot off of Lone Star Circle & Allison Ave. You will be allowed to keep your trailers and tow vehicles in the 1/5 mile Pit area overnight on Friday, June 6. If your tow vehicle is an RV or Motor Home, you will be allowed to stay in the 1/5 Pit area overnight on Friday, June 6. If your RV or Motor Home is not towing your race car, and you plan on camping at the track throughout the weekend, you will have to purchase a camping space from the Speedway Ticket Office by calling (817) 215-8500. The prices for outside camping range from $50 - $150 for that weekend. Texas Motor Speedway will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Legends Souvenir Program
If you have not yet put yourself into the 2003 Legends Drivers Association Souvenir Program, the time to act is now. The Lone Star Legends Drivers Association is accepting last minute submissions for drivers to have their name, photo, and sponsor information included in this year’s souvenir program. The cost is only $75 per driver, and the money helps fund charity work, end of year trophies, point fund, etc. The Lone Star Legends Drivers Association is run by the drivers, for the drivers. For information regarding the 2003 Souvenir Program, or the Lone Star Legends Drivers Association, call Al Seeley at (214) 415-0593.
