Wichita Falls March 1st, 2003 season opener. The Red River Speedway put a great deal of effort into promoting our season opener in Wichita Falls, Texas. They organized a car show at the local mall for the fans to get up close to the cars that they see from the stands. Local drivers brought out their cars as well as the Lonestar Legends crew brought up a Legends Car, Bandolero car and the Texas Motor Speedway Pace car. The Red River Speedway also brought a few Nostalgic race cars that represent the origin of Legends Racing. Bellow are a few pictures of those cars.

After getting the track dry and practicing for an hour or so, our fearless leader Brad Gillie had the privilege of running some hot laps in one of the Late Model Stock cars from the speedway. Thanks to Lonestar Legends for helping us get everything in order at the track. Kari and Allen were there to organize us. We want to thank everybody from DFW for showing up, and making a fun field of racing.
