Information on Saturday's Red River Speedway Race March 15th, 2003

This information was provided to us by the owner of the track in Wichita Falls.
Saturday March 15th
Gates open at Noon
Open Practice with trucks and Legends 1:30 track closes at 3:30pm
pit gates open at 4:00 pm
Practice 4:30 pm
Drivers meeting 5:30 pm
Truck qualifying at 6:00 pm
Heat races 6:30 pm
Features estimated time 8 pm
Bandoleros 20 laps
Limited Late 20 laps
Legends 30 laps
All Star Race Trucks 50 laps
I apologize about the previous race weather we still had a crowd of 70 people.The schedule for this weekend has been confirmed:
Friday Night 6pm-8pm at Sikes Senter Mall Hockey Playoff tickets and Race tickets go on sale you get both tickets for $10.00 (NBC and Mall advertising)
Saturday Night Live coverage during the 6:oo news The sports anchor will be at the track he will ride in the Thunder Zone Car and the MVP of the Hockey team
will ride in the other car. We will have a hockey ticket sale at the race track and an autograph session.
The newspaper is doing a story on the track on Friday also, On Wednesday at 7:15 Pm we will be on racetalklive.com this is on the web talking about the
track, trucks and legends, We are running a half page ad in the Military paper giving them admission to the races for $5 and we are running a 1/4 page ad Friday
and Saturday in the Local paper along with Radio and TV ads. The weather is suppose to be 75 and clear we are doing everything we can to promote Legends and racing in general. You guys had a heck of a showing at the March 1 race and hope you can do it again we will have the people in the stands and the Sports caster out.
