- 02/21/04 - Final
race day for the road course at Texas Motor Speedway
brought a lot of excitement to the fans. First off,
congratulations to all the winners for the day. Kenny
Laughlin won the first race in the Thunder Roadsters
beating Buddy Goudy by a few feet. Troy Leslie of
the Thunder Roadster Division, running the second
feature, brought home his first win ever defeating
Buddy Goudy again by a few feet. Chris Buescher, driving
in the Bandelero Bandit division, once again dominated
the day bringing home dual wins but was Disqualified
on the first race for not going directly to Tech.
The win was then awarded to Ethan Garner which is
his first win ever. In the Pro Division Scott Evans
brought home the first win and Johnny Gottsacker the
second. In the Masters Division James Span brought
home the first win and a great dual between Don Barnard
and Gene Coneley had Don Barnard the victor in the
end.In the Bandelero Young Guns division the second
race was won by Alex Montgomery. The first race is
still un-anounced due to questions by tech on Alex
Kennedy's air filter.
